Form Follows Function: It should be made great for it to work properly.
Function Follows Form: If it doesn't do much, it should be built like crap.

And the IRONY of it all is that IRONY is driving the car designed through IDEA. And even more IRONY is a guy who believes in IDEA. Instead of driving what he believes in, he's sitting in the passenger seat, daydreaming about his thinking and not driving a BMW. BMW's Motto says it all: "Stop Dreaming. Start Driving."

I get the whole "Idea" behind not only THIS BMW commercial, but all of the ones before it! EXCELLENT COMMERCIAL!!

Take, the new Mustang, for example. Since Ford didn't have ANY idea on how to make it "new," so they used the 60's look remade with a crappy engine and pretended that they intentionally made it bad. But, the IRONY of it is that even though it's a BAD idea, people won't care about the THOUGHT, or it's lack thereof, put into the car.

They will still buy it BECAUSE of it's STYLE, not because of the IDEA that created it. So, due to IRONY, the Mustang will sell whether it's good or bad. But the BMW will sell because of the IDEAS and THOUGHT installed into it. The BMW will ALWAYS be new, refreshed, invigorating.
